In order to use Fidei Chat, you must agree to these terms of service, which outline what is considered acceptable use of our service. These terms help us maintain Fidei Chat as a charitable and productive community for all users.
At Fidei Technology LLC, we strive to make our customers happy and attempt to live out our vocation as Catholic business owners with integrity. Fidei Chat provides services only to individuals who are at least 18 years old, or to minors who have obtained permission from their parents or guardians.
We require a valid Fidei account in order to use Fidei Chat services. Your Fidei Chat access is tied to your Fidei email account and follows the same billing and account management policies.
By using Fidei Chat services, you agree to abide by all national and international laws and regulations and to not use our services for any illegal purposes. This includes but is not limited to harassment, threats, or sharing illegal content.
We monitor the utilization of our services for unusual usage patterns in order to prevent abuse of Fidei Chat servers and to maintain service quality for all our customers.
To keep Fidei Chat a charitable and productive community, we ask that you follow these guidelines:
Interact with others in a spirit of Christian charity. Harassment, bullying, calumny, or deliberately hurtful behavior have no place here. Treat others as you would want to be treated.
Do not use Fidei Chat for any illegal purpose or to share content that is contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church. This includes but is not limited to:
Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity. Be honest in your communications and respect the privacy and dignity of other users.
Do not use Fidei Chat to send unsolicited messages, spam, or to disrupt the service for other users. Do not attempt to access Fidei Chat servers outside the realm of normal service usage.
Your messages in Fidei Chat are end-to-end encrypted, meaning only you and the people in your conversation can read them. We cannot read your messages, and we do not store them in a way that would allow us to access their content.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your login credentials with others, and contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
We respect the creative work of others and expect you to do the same. Do not share copyrighted material that you don't have the rights to distribute. This includes but is not limited to:

We will investigate all valid copyright claims and take appropriate action, which may include removing content or suspending accounts.
Fidei Chat actively maintains and improves our services. This means that there will inevitably be times when we need to perform maintenance or updates. We do our very best to minimize disruptions, but we are fallen men and our efforts will not be perfect.
We reserve the right to perform maintenance at any time, though we will do our best to schedule it during times that minimize impact on most users. In the event of an error or outage, we will work as quickly as possible to resolve it and restore service.
The service is provided "as is" and you agree not to hold us responsible for any damages that arise as a result of the loss of use, data, or profits connected to the performance of this service. Furthermore, you will not hold us liable if confidential material is unintentionally released as the result of a security failure or vulnerability.
We do, however, work to make Fidei Chat as reliable and secure as possible. For particularly sensitive communications, we recommend additional security measures such as meeting in person or using additional encryption tools.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms of service. We will make every effort to contact users before taking such action, except in cases where immediate action is necessary to protect other users or our service.

You agree that we cannot be held responsible for any third party claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of our services. You, and solely you, take responsibility for your actions while using our service.
We reserve the right to review and change this agreement at any time. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms and Conditions. Continued use of our services after such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes to these terms.
